The Walk Home begins on a black screen, its title glowing in gold. A red light sits on a pole next to the booth, against a cloudy sky. Clouds stretch out low over the hills behind it. As we move closer, we can see Sameer Gadhia standing inside. He holds a red receiver to his ear, lit softly from above. Lit from above, he stands with his eyes closed and the phone at his mouth.
Then the scene goes pale and quiet, with a figure in white walking across an empty flat. The figure keeps walking, small against all that open ground. There is no one else in sight, just pale ground and a long shadow. For a moment a group of people in bright robes stands together on the pale ground. They wear pinks, greens and yellows, standing close together under a clear sky. Back in the booth, Sameer Gadhia presses the red receiver close. He listens, the red phone at his ear, lit from above.
Then a figure in white stands in shallow water, arms spread wide. He holds his arms out wide in the calm water. The water is still and pale all around him. Far out in the water, a swing set appears. In the booth, Sameer Gadhia tips his head back with the receiver at his mouth. A man in white swings back and forth on the swing set, his feet just above the water. He leans way back as the swing carries him up. His reflection breaks up in the ripples below.
At the end, we are back at the phone booth as the sky goes dark. The red light still glows on its pole as night comes in. The wide evening sky and the single booth make the whole thing feel calm and alone.

Is anyone out there listening?
I've lost myself
A phone booth stands on a shore at dusk beside a pole with a red light.
Deep in the algorithm
Of someone else
A phone booth at dusk.
And under new conditions I might find that
Sameer Gadhia stands in a lit phone booth against an orange dusk sky.
I was always perfectly alone
Can somebody walk me home?
Sameer Gadhia holds a red phone receiver to his mouth inside the booth at dusk.
To pearly gates
The universe becomes a wave
A man holds a red phone.
And crashes down
Forever's not enough
A man in white walks alone across a flat pale desert.
And under new conditions
A man in white walks across the pale desert floor, his shadow beside him.
You are not alone
Can somebody walk me home?
Seen from farther away, the man in white keeps walking across the flat desert.
Can somebody walk me home?
Is anyone out there listening?
The small figure of the man in white walks across the flats toward a distant shoreline.
I've lost myself
But there is a song that echoes
A phone booth stands on a shore at dusk beside a pole with a red light.
Like morning bells
A phone booth stands on a shore at dusk.
And as a distant memory shoots right through me
I am left so perfectly alone
A group of people in colorful clothes stands together on a pale shore.
Can somebody walk me home?
To pearly gates
Sameer Gadhia sings into the red receiver in the dark booth.
The universe becomes a wave
And crashes down
Sameer Gadhia tips his head back, the red receiver at his mouth.
Forever's not enough
And under new conditions
A man in white stands in shallow water with his arms out.
We are not alone
And when I get better someday
The man in white stands in the shallow water, arms spread wide, facing the horizon.
I'll see myself in you the way it's always been
And under new conditions I might find that
A man in white stands in shallow water, seen from behind.
We will always walk each other home
Can somebody walk me home?
A man in white walks through shallow water toward a swing set.
Can somebody walk me home?
Can somebody walk me home?
A man in white swings on a swing set standing in shallow water.
Can somebody walk me home?
The man in white leans back on the swing above the shallow water.
