Heat of the Summer opens in a haze of purple light, the band barely visible through it. Then we land on a sunny beach, with people lounging and running across the sand. One man in a striped shirt has his own personal weather: a small cartoon cloud raining on him alone. Up close he sings, eyes squeezed shut, while the rain runs down his face. He presses both hands to his head as the rain keeps falling.
For a moment the whole beach turns into a bright cartoon drawing. The little cloud follows him, floating right above his head. He sings with one hand on his chest, the rain still pouring. He grips his head in both hands. He stands at the water's edge on his own. He turns away, a man in a green cap behind him.
A brightly colored taco stand appears. He rests his cheek on his hand, looking tired. Behind the counter, a long-haired man in a fruit-print shirt gets to work. A drink with a paper umbrella waits on the bar. A bill sits on a tablet with a pen resting on it. He tries to eat something red while the rain drips on him. He stands by a pink wall holding a small ice cream cone.
Sameer Gadhia, in a striped shirt, walks by the sea. The little cloud hangs alone in the orange sky, still raining. He stands with his arms loose on the sand. A bunch of pastel balloons bursts into the frame. Swirling pink and red colors fill the screen. Suddenly he is in a sequined jacket, lit up in pink. Musicians play through a haze of pink light. The band plays on in deep red light. At the end, a soft pink cloud rises over a dusky horizon. It is a funny, sweet video about one man and his own little rain cloud.

No one can take me out of this mess
I do it to myself
Sameer Gadhia, in a striped shirt, looks off to the side on a beach as rain falls.
I lost my phone, my keys, what else?
The answer doesn't help
Gloved hands unpack a red first-aid kit on the sand.
I'm paranoid as hell and I wanna
Go home but there's no place to run
Sameer Gadhia, in a striped shirt, grimaces on a hazy beach.
Feel like it's been forever
Since I had my shit together
Sameer Gadhia, in a striped shirt, smiles among a crowd on a beach under a white cloud.
I just do what I wanna
In the heat of the summer
Sameer Gadhia in a striped shirt beside a man in a green bucket hat.
If I could roll up another
Baby I could see in technicolor
A man in a green bucket hat and tie-dye shirt sweeps a metal detector on the beach.
I just do what I gotta
In the heat of the summer
Sameer Gadhia stands on a beach beside a man in a green bucket hat holding a metal detector.
In the heat of the summer
I've got to figure something out
Sameer Gadhia sits at a colorful taco stand, resting his head on his hand.
But I don't know where to start
I found my keys under the couch
A hand holds a dark glass with a paper umbrella.
But I'm scared of going out
Having all these doubt and I'd rather
Sameer Gadhia, in a striped shirt, looks down sadly as rain falls.
Stay home cuz there's no place to run
Feel like it's been forever
An animated man with a beard sits at a table in a cartoon scene.
Since I had my shit together
I just do what I wanna
Sameer Gadhia by a red wall.
In the heat of the summer
If I could roll up another
A hand holds a melting ice cream cone.
Baby I could see in technicolor
I just do what I gotta
Sameer Gadhia, in a striped shirt, frowns on a beach as rain falls.
In the heat of the summer
I'll be wasting time
A pink cartoon cloud rains over a hazy orange sky.
In the sunshine
I'll be flying high
Sameer Gadhia stands alone on an empty beach as pink clouds bloom.
In the summer time
Feel like it's been forever
Swirling pink, red and yellow clouds fill the frame.
Since I had my shit together
I just do what I wanna
Sameer Gadhia, in a sequined jacket, dances amid red and orange haze.
In the heat of the summer
If I could roll up another
A man in a white hat and glasses sings under pink light.
Baby I could see in technicolor
I just do what I gotta
Sameer Gadhia, in a sequined jacket, dances in a crowd under red light.
In the heat of the summer
In the heat of the summer
Sameer Gadhia, in a sequined jacket, dances in a crowd under red light.
